Restoring the Basilica of Cartagena was a spiritual and cultural mission: to breathe new life into a national symbol. I also spearheaded humanitarian aid efforts in Colombia and donations to institutions in Spain.

Philanthropy is not an act, it is a duty. Those who receive must give back. And that principle has guided each of my social endeavors.
